The Death of Comic Sans

Am I the only human on the planet who really, really misses the Comic Sans font?

Just look at it. (Sorry---you won't find it here. That's the point.)

It was so pleasant and uplifting, or was it just me?
Maybe it was the Cymbalta.

But a few weeks ago, and I cannot remember where, I read an article about how many thousands of people actually hated Comic Sans.
What's to hate? It's legible, unlike some of those horrid, flowery handwriting fonts, like, well, I can't think of their names now, but you know the ones I mean.

And now to learn that Windows 7 has removed the Kristen font, another fun, relaxed but unpretentious looking font.
Go figure.
